Understand what your loan may still cost before changing it.
Test an existing home, education or personal loan using basic figures. Compare the remaining interest, an extra monthly payment and an alternative interest-rate scenario without sharing account numbers or documents.
See the cost of time, rate and repayment choices.
Use rounded figures if you prefer. The result stays in your browser and is not submitted as an enquiry.
What the calculator can and cannot tell you
The result is an illustrative amortisation estimate. Actual lender statements can differ because of reset dates, daily interest methods, part-period interest, insurance, fees, taxes, moratoriums, overdue amounts, rate conversions or other contractual terms.
- Use the latest outstanding principal rather than the original loan amount.
- Use the remaining tenure, not the original tenure.
- Enter your actual EMI if it differs from a standard amortising payment.
- Include known processing, legal, valuation or switching costs when testing a refinance.
- Do not treat the result as a lender offer, approval or restructuring commitment.
When a detailed review may be useful
A deeper review can compare the actual sanction terms, rate-reset mechanics, charges, prepayment alternatives, household cash flow and lender options. Where repayments are already under stress, the objective is to understand the position and prepare a more informed lender discussion, not to promise a settlement outcome.
